Sales Manager

Position Summary:
Leads and manages the company sales and events concentrating on prospecting the market in order to drive sales through all channels. Implement sales plans and initiatives in order to maximize the company revenue, deliver outstanding guest service and achieve the highest level of financial profitability with emphasis on developing, maintaining key business relationships with guests, sponsors and partners.

Position Responsibilities:
– Developing a progressive and future-oriented business plan for sales activities;
– Lead sales forecasting activities and set measurable targets for the company;
– Review competition set and other market reports maintaining awareness of the market position;
– Research competition sales strategy to identify the way of growing in this segment;
– Define and research new business opportunities, expand the company segments by securing and strengthening existing accounts;
– Prepare and execute sales action plans and develop forecasts;
– Monitor and prepare sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed guest base expansion;
– Maintain a high-level exposure of the company for the guest’s satisfaction through site inspections, guest events, visits to guests’ sites, etc
– Focuses on guest expectations within event offerings and creative solutions, building a long-term value-based guest relationships and enabling the achievement of the company sales objectives
– Targets both corporate and private events with different event purposes;
– Manage the entire sales process from the proactiveness to the last detail of the event, on-call feedback, and courtesy relationship maintenance.
– Participate in the meetings with valuable information and reports about the activity performed

Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
– has a previous experience in sales or has previous experience working in the hospitality industry within a luxury sector;
– possess a passion for driving sales initiatives that are innovating and energizing;
– has a proven track -record in building lasting relationships with partners;
– is adaptable to change and view changes in a positive way;
– is an excellent communicator both written and orally
– is a confident and comfortable presenter
– have fun while working;
– demonstrate skills to manage the sales process and upselling opportunities
– has the ability to manage extensive amounts of information and provide constructive analysis, feedback, or direction
– has the ability to effectively deal with the owner, guests, and team members;

Qualifying Standards, Education:
University degree preferable in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, or related Experience
Hotel experience preferred
Proven track of success in achieving goals
Experience in a leadership role for a minimum of three to five years
